Jaipreet is a versatile and talented actor who has
worked in theatre, television and films.
He started his theatre career in 2007 with the Delhi
based theatre director Feisal Alkazi from Ruchika
Theatre. He worked in over 10 productions, ranging
from ‘Chaal’ to ‘Noor’ in which he sensitively
portrayed the character of a eunuch called Nazakat
Khan.
As an actor in over 30 Indian TV commercials, web
series and films, Jaipreet has had the honour of
working with some of the best directors in the
country such as Dibakar Bannerjee, Anurag Kashyap,
Hansal Mehta, Vikramaditya Motwani, Anand L Rai,
Anubhav Sinha, Balwinder Singh Janjua, Neeraj
Ghaywan and more. Jaipreet’s portrayal of Dilbag
Singh in the Netflix series SACRED GAMES won him
critical praise. His last series called ‘Cat’ on Netflix
topped Netflix India’s chart where he essayed the role
of Shamsher Singh, a gangster. Jaipreet has also
rubbed shoulders with some of the most acclaimed
actors in the industry such as Pankaj Tripathi,
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan, Shahrukh Khan,
Anoushka Sharma, Manisha Koirala, Divya Dutta,
Neeraj Kabi, Parineeti Chopra, Rajkummar Yadav and
more.
Jaipreet also trained in psychodrama, a type of
therapy that uses theatrical techniques and concepts
to bring about meaningful change. Jaipreet credits
much of his histrionic depth to his experience in
theatre and psychodrama.
